HFFS Application

Soap Flow Wrapping Machine for Bar Soap Pillow Packs

Bar soap is a regular solid product well suited to horizontal flow wrapping when dimensions, surface condition and product spacing are controlled. A suitable system must prevent scuffing, keep printed film aligned and create consistent fin and end seals across the required size range.

Published HYS Configuration Facts

  • HFFS models are published at 20-250 packs/min
  • Published finished bag widths extend from 25-110 to 50-200 mm by model
  • Published suitable film thickness: 0.03-0.06 mm
  • Automatic feeding and gas flushing are project-specific options

Final model, options, accuracy and output are confirmed from product and package samples.

Custom functions: Nitrogen flushing, dust extraction, metal detection and checkweighing require a customized machine or line configuration.

Product Handling Requirements

  • Provide soap length, width, height, weight and acceptable surface-contact method.
  • Confirm whether bars arrive loose, from a cutter, in trays or on an upstream conveyor.
  • Guides and lugs should maintain orientation without marking soft or freshly produced bars.
  • For multipacks, define count, grouping method and final bundle dimensions.

Packaging Film and Presentation

  • Confirm printed or plain film, thickness, friction and heat-seal range.
  • Eye-mark control is required when artwork must remain centered on every bar.
  • Bag dimensions should provide neat corners without excessive looseness or product compression.
  • Date or batch coding should be positioned away from critical seal areas.

Changeover and Verification

  • List every soap size and expected production rate before selecting HFS-260, HFS-350 or HFS-450.
  • Verify stable feeding, seal appearance, cut position and reject rate with actual samples.
  • Record forming-box, guide and recipe requirements for repeatable changeover.
